Placing things on the examination table
If plan specifications and goals fall short or sophisticated concepts for handling business-specific challenges are introduced, this beckons the question of plausability and validity of numbers and metrics, or rather concepts.
With respect to the neccessary plausability checks, we are not as concerned with the arithmatic correctness, but rather the question regarding the content and method as related to validity.
False basic assumptions and manual/methodical mistakes are common, but this also includes unsatisfactory "means-ends relationships" with respect to concept and metrics planning, which result in unmet goals.
Plausability examination includes the following components:
-
Premise Examination: Setting up a clean basis for planning
By examining planning premises, we check the fundamental planning and make the methodical and content customization needs transparent.
-
Plausability Planning: Ensuring consistency of numbers
By introducing plausability planning, we not only establish the planning framework, but also examaine the horizontal, or rather vertical coherence of numbers. We guarantee that the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow account are reconciled and are included in the planning.
-
Concept Testing: Examining the effectiveness of the concept components
Generic concepts do not allow you to address business specific problems. While conducting the concept test, we examine the goal and problem relevance of all concepts and activities and assess the qualitative and quantitative effects as well as time requirements.
-
Checking Metrics Die richtigen Aktivitäten ergreifen
By checking the metrics, we ensure the all activities are sound, all effects are able to be quantified comprehensively, and the correct metrics for achieveing targets are able to be reached. Both the project organization of the implementation metrics as well as the management of the individuals responsible for the implementation.
